| Ninewells guided summer fishing We have been extremely fortunate to have been given access to fishing on the Ninewells beat on the River Whiteadder for this coming summer season. James from Chasing Fins who runs Ninewells is off to Norway guiding so he has asked if I can step in and look after the beat allowing my guests to come and fish. The Whiteadder is a tributary of the Tweed, joining below the tidal limit and providing a good run of fish throughout the year. It's especially known for its spring salmon, the summer brings some salmon and offers excellent fishing for sea trout and brown trout. The Ninewells beat has 12 named pools, including exciting gorges and classic grilse runs. I'll also be offering lessons throughout the summer here, covering casting techniques and how to read the water as well as at Tiptoe on the Till. Guided bookings are available for 1–4 rods, with 1, 2, 3 or 4 day lets, as well as full weeks. Local accommodation in pubs, hotels, or houses can also be arranged for travelling guest Full weeks available (can be split): 15th June, 22nd June, 3rd August, 24th August and 7th September. Weeks that 1, 2, 3 and 4 days rods available: 29th June, 6th June, 13th June, 3rd August, 19th August and 31st August.
